Processing Machine Operators 1st Shift

Impact Confections Manufacturing  is seeking a Processing Machine Operator for its facility located in  Janesville, Wisconsin. 

Paid Training will be provided. Prior food manufacturing experience is preferred.

This position will work 1st shift 6:45am to 2:45 pm some daily extended hours and weekends may be required during peak season.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assess and adjusts depositor on the production line and loads molds into the machine using a scissor lift.
• Responsible for recording production and scrap.
• Observes variations of candy level, temperatures, and product quality.
• Maintain the proper speed of the machine as required per product and instruction.
• Obey all GMP and Safety Rules.
• Demonstrates commitment to food safety and continuous improvement.
• Follow written SOP’s to perform job duties.
• Keep a clean work area, and constantly look for quality issues with the product.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
• Keep a constant lookout for variations of candy level, temperatures and product quality.
• Maintain proper speed of the machine as advised by the supervisor.

Education and/or Experience

Prior food manufacturing experience is preferred.

Computer Skills, Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Requires Company certification for operation of electric pallet jacks and forklifts.
